DPD Introduces 'New Fur-Cop, And She's Amazing!'

DENVER (CBS4) - The Denver Police Department added a new furry friend to the force.

"And she's amazing!" they posted on Facebook.

Sophie is a two-year-old Yellow Labrador, who "is trained to detect explosive odors, bomb and shell casings, and she loves doing it!"

Officer Sophie will work alongside her handler, Technician Frank Vessa.
