State Troopers Help Ranchers Herd 1,000 Sheep

ALAMOSA, Colo. (CBS4) - Ranchers in southern Colorado got a helping hand from state troopers.

Among all their other duties, apparently, they "even help ranchers move their stock," they tweeted out with a photo.

The picture shows troopers and rancher escorting a herd of sheep across a road.

Nearly 1,000 sheep were moved from one side to the other, with troopers helping as they kept motorists safe.
