Arvada Residents: Water Is Safe To Drink
ARVADA, Colo. (CBS4)- People living in Arvada shouldn't be concerned about a discoloration in their water. It's safe to drink.
The City of Arvada determined the problem in the water is due to manganese, a mineral naturally present in many of Colorado's lakes and streams.
The city told CBS4 they are working on fixing the color.
Residents are urged to let the cold tap run for several minutes to see if that helps clear up the discoloration.
