LAKEWOOD, Ohio (CBS4) – A teenage lifeguard needed just 20 minutes on the job to save his first life.
Fifteen-year-old Jack Viglianco had just completed orientation when he noticed a four-year-old boy struggling in the pool.
Viglianco pulled the boy out to safety.
“I was realizing that I just saved a kid’s life and that is something not many other people can say, nothing my friends have ever said.” said Viglianco.
Jack says being a lifeguard is a passion and a dream come true.
