Teen Lands In Neck-Deep Water After 40 Foot Fall
FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) - Poudre Fire Authority firefighters used a complex rescue technique on Tuesday to help a teenager who fell 40 feet while hiking in Larimer County.
The 14-year-old boy fell from the top of Horsetooth Falls. He landed in a pool of water and was submerged up to his neck.
A firefighter repelled down to the boy, put him in a harness and pulled him to safety.
Fire crews say the boy was cold and wet but otherwise okay.
