Seeing Smoke? Prescribed Burn Happening At The Arsenal
DENVER (CBS4) - Firefighters are conducting a prescribed burn at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal Friday.
The burn is scheduled to last from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Smoke can already been seen in many parts of the Denver metro area.
Approximately 500 acres north and east of the visitor center will be burned to improve habitat conditions and reduce invasive species.
The Discovery and Legacy Trails will be closed for the burn operations, but are scheduled to reopen Saturday.
