MESA COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) – Deputies had to call in back up after a standoff escalated Friday.
They responded to a call of a “mean goat” outside a woman’s home in western Colorado.
The goat, she said, was keeping her from leaving her home.
When deputies arrived, it instead followed them around.
After calling in some backup, they were able to corral the goat and take it back home next door.
The goat was let off with a warning.
