Texans Bench Brock Osweiler

HOUSTON (CBS4) - The Houston Texans have seen enough poor play from Brock Osweiler.

The former Broncos quarterback, who left Denver for a lucrative contract in Texas in the offseason, was yanked from Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars after throwing two interceptions in the second quarter.

After Peyton Manning retired it was assumed Brock Osweiler would be the starting quarterback for the Broncos. But he jumped ship and signed signed a four-year, $72 million deal.

Follow the Texans-Jags game action here. Backup quarterback Tom Savage is now leading the Texans offense. Savage completed a long pass to receiver Wendall Williams immediately after entering the game.
