McManus Boots 300th Point With Broncos

DENVER (CBS4) - Broncos kicker Brandon McManus is the 12th player in team history to reach 300 points.

With his field goal kick in the first quarter, McManus now has 302 points with the team.

He is the sixth-fastest to reach the mark.

Earlier this season, in the 34-20 win over the Indianapolis Colts, McManus kicked the 200th point of his career.

McManus holds the Broncos record for the most field goals in the Super Bowl, when he kicked three in the team's Super Bowl 50 victory over the Carolina Panthers.

He is 10 for 10 in field goal attempts in the playoffs.

Six non-kickers are ahead of McManus.

Demaryius Thomas (314) is at 11th, with Floyd Little (324), Shannon Sharpe (336), Terrell Davis (396), Gene Mingo (408), and Rod Smith (408) ahead of him.

The top five spots for all-time scoring by a Broncos player are all held by kickers.

David Treadwell (429) comes in at fifth, with Rich Karlis (655), Matt Prater (682), and Jim Turner (742) ahead of him.

Jason Elam (1786) is the Broncos all-time leading scorer.
