Reward Grows In Apartment Door Vandalism Case

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Aurora have increased the reward money that's available to the person who provides a tip that leads them to the vandal or vandals responsible for racist graffiti on doors in an apartment complex.

A neighbor who asked to stay anonymous told CBS4 he worries his family might be next.

"I'm really worried. I am afraid they might do something to my apartment. I'm worried about my family and my friends who live here," he said.

Aurora police say hate crimes will not be tolerated and that they are treating this case as priority.

Anyone with information about the case that might be helpful to investigators is asked to call Detective Ryan Belleau with the District 3 Detective Unit at (303) 627-3156 or Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at (720) 913-7867.
