DNA From Ball Cap Used In Arrest Of Murder Suspect
DENVER (CBS4)- Police used DNA found inside a baseball cap to arrest a murder suspect in connection with a deadly shooting outside the Cold Crush nightclub.
Denver rapper Boss Goodie, also known as Tyrone Adair, was shot and killed outside the club in Rino in October.
According to the arrest affidavit, DNA from a baseball cap left inside the club helped police identify and arrest Arnold Mortis.
New technology called Shot Spotter picked up the gunfire and alerted police to the shooting.
