DENVER (CBS4) - One of the so-called Scream Bandits was sentenced on Tuesday less than one month after the three men were convicted in connection with a violent bank robbery last year.

Bank surveillance video shows masked suspects entering a Lakewood bank last fall and robbing it, ending with the suspects locking people inside the vault. The crime spree in Lakewood ended in a chase that included two carjackings and two people shot.

Robin Torrez and her mother Rhonda were among their victims; they spoke exclusively to CBS 4 after the trio was convicted last month.

"There wasn't a warning of, 'Hey give me your car' or 'Hey I need this,' it was just straight up violent," Robin said.

She was shot in the hand and lost a finger, Rhonda was severely beaten trying to help her injured daughter.

Robin spoke at the sentencing hearing Tuesday, telling the court her life was paralyzed by the attack and that for her the "terror isn't over."
