Heavy Mountain Snow & Difficult Travel By Tonight
By Chris Spears
DENVER (CBS4) - A powerful jet stream will be roaring overhead this weekend and that will keep Colorado's weather unsettled.
In the mountains get ready for a dose of heavy snow and strong wind starting this afternoon and lasting into Sunday. Travel on passes will become very difficult by tonight.
Denver and the eastern plains will be partly to mostly cloudy and breezy at times with a slight chance for a few rain or snow showers later tonight and early Sunday.
Enjoy Saturday's warmth because we are looking at a significant cooling trend during the week ahead.
