ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - The Broncos are a foot away from deciding their starting quarterback for Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans.

Trevor Siemian's left foot, that is.

Should Siemian wake up on Saturday morning with his foot feeling as it does today, he should get the nod Sunday.

Head Coach Gary Kubiak says Siemian has progressed during the week and has done everything the team has asked him to do. Kubiak says he's now just waiting to see how Siemian feels Saturday before making the call.

"He did everything we asked him to do (Thursday). He did probably a little bit more today," Kubiak said. "We're still repping Paxton. We'll see if we get there on game day. We'll see how he feels."

If Siemian plays, he will wear an orthotic in his shoe to help the injured foot.

Rookie Paxton Lynch is being prepared to start again. He struggled against the Jaguars on Sunday and was just 12-of-24 passing for 104 yards in the 20-10 victory.

Linebacker Brandon Marshall and long snapper Casey Kreiter have both been ruled out of Sunday's game.

Marshall reinjured his hamstring Sunday, while Kreiter continues to nurse a calf injury. Thomas Gafford will handle the snapping duties.

Marshall also revealed Friday that he received a racist and threatening letter from an anonymous person. Coach Gary Kubiak said the team is aware of the letter and is handling the matter.
