CSU To Face Idaho In Famous Idaho Potato Bowl

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) - The Colorado State University Rams football team has accepted an invitation to the 20th Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.

The Rams will face the University of Idaho in the game scheduled to be played on Dec. 22 at 5 p.m. that will be aired on ESPN.

"Colorado State closed the regular season as one of the hottest teams in the country, winning four of its last five games, and five of its last seven, to secure its fourth consecutive bowl invitation — the second-longest streak of postseason play in school history," CSU said in a released statement.

It will be CSU's first appearance in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.

Tickets may be purchased online now through the CSU Ticket Office, or beginning Monday morning at 8 a.m. by phone at 800-491-RAMS (7267) and in person at the McGraw Athletic Center ticket windows. Fans can best support CSU Athletics by purchasing their tickets, priced at $50, through the Rams ticket office, and purchasing from the official CSU allotment ensures the best seat locations and seating with fellow Rams fans. Priority deadline for ticket sales will be Friday, December 9 at 5 p.m. MT, and tickets may be picked up from the McGraw Center ticket office starting Monday, Dec. 12 at 8 a.m., through Friday, Dec. 16 at 5 p.m. Ticket pickup also may take place at the team hotel while the Rams are in Boise. All tickets ordered prior to the deadline will be allocated (seat location) based off of Ram Points. For questions regarding Ram Points, contact the Ram Club at (970) 491-2222.
