Car Crashes Into Light Rail Train

DENVER (CBS4) - RTD's D-Line was shut down Wednesday afternoon due to a crash.

It happened around 2 p.m. at 22nd St. and Welton St., in Denver's Five Points neighborhood.

Police say the driver of the car that hit the train was transported to the hospital, but did not sustain any serious injuries.

Train service was delayed while the wreckage was cleared, and reopened later in the afternoon.
