NFL Players To Lace Up Custom Cleats For Charity

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - Week 13 of the 2016 NFL season will have a new look.

At least for players who want to show their support for a charity as part of the NFL's My Cause, My Cleats campaign.

Broncos cornerback Chris Harris Jr. is one of more than 500 players who are planning on sporting a new look.

Harris Jr. posted photos of his cleats to his Instagram account, and will wear them in support of the Chris Harris Jr. Foundation.

That's why "Underdogs" is written on the side of Chris's cleats.

Always seen as an underdog himself, each summer Harris Jr. hosts a free Underdog Football Skills Academy to support and help "kids rise above their circumstances and strive for greatness."

Players will also have the opportunity to auction off their cleats at NFL Auction to raise more money for their charities.
