Fire Guts Business In Popular Denver Shopping Area

DENVER (CBS4) - Firefighters worked quickly to put out a fire at a small business in a popular area for shopping in Denver on Tuesday morning.

The building is located on Tennyson Street near West 41st Avenue in the Berkeley neighborhood.

The fire didn't spread to Pearl Street Fitness in the building next door, but owners said in a Facebook post they will be closed for the day due to some smoke that got inside.

A neighboring business owner said the business, Green Door Furniture, has been open recently.

No one was hurt in the firefight, and so far it's not clear what caused the fire.
