Marshall: Broncos Striving For Home Field Advantage

By Michael Spencer

CENTENNIAL, Colo. (CBS4) - Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall joined CBS4 Broncos analyst Mark Schlereth and CBS4 sports anchor Michael Spencer for the Week 12 edition of Xfinity Monday Live at the ViewHouse Centennial on Monday.

"I'm excited to come back and get to work," said Marshall after the Broncos bye week.

The Broncos had their first post-bye practice on Monday and Aqib Talib and Derek Wolfe made their returns to the field.

"The band is back together," Marshall joked. "It was nice, Wolfe's back, Talib's back. We're all excited man, we can't wait."

The Broncos have six games remaining, including three against AFC West opponents, and the team is treating all six games as if they were playoff games.

"We strive for the best. We want home field advantage, and to do that we have to win all six games, and that just comes with the territory," said Marshall.

One of the remaining six games is against the Jacksonville Jaguars, a team that cut Marshall three times before he landed in Denver.

"It's going to be a crazy vibe. I'm going to be so energetic on the field. I'm going to have to try to calm myself down pregame, because I'm going to be so amped up."

Before the Jaguars, Marshall and the Broncos will host Kansas City Sunday night with a 6:30 p.m. kickoff from Mile High. CBS4's coverage of the game will start with Ford Countdown to Kickoff at 9:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
