2 In Custody After Homicide In Abandoned Building

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) – Authorities in Larimer County are investigating what they call a homicide in an abandoned building.

According to police, just after 12:30 a.m. on Saturday police were notified of an assault that occurred in the 200 block of West Harmony Road in Fort Collins.

Police arrested Matthew Tatti, 30; and Anthony Horne, 38; for their alleged involvement in the death.

Tatti and Horne are both charged with first-degree murder.

"Officers were dispatched to the location and found a deceased adult male in an abandoned building," police said in a statement.

It appears people were using the abandoned building as a shelter.

"Detectives are in the process of interviewing several parties to determine their involvement. Police are investigating what led up to the incident, and if all involved parties have been contacted," police said.

The name of the victim hasn't been released.

Police say there isn't a threat to the community.
