Record Highs Could Be Set or Tied In Denver

DENVER (CBS4) - High clouds were the only form of moisture on Monday as the high rose to 72 degrees - once again, well above normal. Tuesday, with mostly sunny skies, the high could approach the 80 degree mark, here in mid-November, and quite possibly set a new record high temperature - the current record for November 15 is 78 set back in 1942. The same situation could be set up fro Wednesday: the predicted high is 77 and the record for November 16 is 77 set in 1941.

Hope you enjoy that balmy weather as a major change arrive by Thursday: look for mostly cloudy skies with a good chance for rain showers with a high in the low 50s. That could be more than 25 degrees cooler than Tuesday, but a high in the lower 50s is exactly normal for this time of year! And if that moisture comes at night, we could see rain mixing with snow! Cooler still on Friday, with a high only in the mid 40s under partly cloudy skies. As we begin the weekend, Saturday will be mostly sunny and seasonal - high in the low 50s; mostly sunny and about 10 degrees warmer on Sunday.
