Hundreds Of Students Protest Trump
DENVER (CBS4)- Hundreds of students in Denver walked out of class on Monday morning to protest Donald Trump's presidential election.
The students walked out of Denver's STRIVE Prep- Excel High School and DSST: Byers on Monday morning. They marched to the state Capitol where they gathered for a short rally.
Police officers and school officials escorted the students along the streets to the capitol.
They carried signs reading "Donald Trump is not my President," "Millennial Voice Matters" and "United We Stand."
Students headed back to campus just before noon.
