Family Cat Recovers After Shot With Pellet Gun
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4)- A family in Colorado Springs is on a mission to find the person who shot their cat.
The cat is expected to make a full recovery. The cat was shot with a pellet gun in the windpipe.
The cat's four-year-old owner found her.
"Wolf came up to us and told us the cat was biting her tongue and there was blood. So I walked over to where she was and she didn't look well. She was kind of wheezing," said cat owner Fae Best.
Animal law enforcement continues to investigate the case. They urge families to keep small pets indoors.
Whoever shot the cat could face charges ranging from a misdemeanor to a felony.
