Police Investigate Toddler's Drowning Death
LAKEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — Authorities say a toddler has died after neighbors pulled her from a backyard pond in Lakewood.
Police say the girl died Tuesday. They say she was about 18 months old and had apparently wandered away while in the care of a family member.
Police say they haven't determined how long the girl was in the water. Her name hasn't been released.
An investigation is underway.
