By Chris Spears
DENVER (CBS4) - If you're hoping for snow in Denver it looks like you'll have to wait and see what November has in store.
October 2016 is going to end on the dry side with temperatures continuing to run well above normal.
Snow records for the Denver climate station date back to 1882. In that time there have been 19 October's with no snow and 13 with a "trace" of snowfall for a total of 32 without measurable snow.
This year will become the 33rd.
Measurable snowfall is defined as being one tenth of an inch or higher at the official weather station on a calendar day.
Denver's latest first snow on record fell on November 21, 1934.
