Driver Returns To Scene Of Hit & Run Crash, Is Arrested
DENVER (CBS4) - A 52-year-old man is under arrest and suspected of causing a crash that injured a motorcycle rider and then leaving the scene.
It happened on Friday morning at East Iliff Avenue and South Valencia Street in unincorporated Arapahoe County.
The driver suspected of causing the wreck was driving a gold sedan. Police say about two hours after the crash, he returned to the scene and was arrested.
Juan Chavez now faces charges.
The name and condition of the 33-year-old victim so far are not known.
