Registered Sex Offender Arrested, Accused In Sexual Assault Of 14-Year-Old

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - A registered sex offender has been arrested after he was accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl he met on an app called Whisper.

Police in Boulder arrested Christopher Ehlebracht, in connection with the sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl from Westminster.

The victim met Ehlebracht, 29, through an online app called Whisper which is used by people to anonymously vent problems.

On Oct. 13, Ehlebracht picked up the victim at her home and drove her to his home in Boulder where police say he sexually assaulted her.

Officers in Boulder located Ehlebracht and arrested him on Monday, on a warrant alleging sexual assault on a child, enticement of a child and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He remains in custody at the Boulder County Jail.

Ehlebracht is currently a registered sex offender. He was convicted in 2011 of attempted sex assault on a child in Westminster.
