Clinton Rallies In Pueblo, 1st Campaign Stop In Colorado Since August

PUEBLO, Colo. (CBS4)- Hillary Clinton spoke to a packed house at the Colorado State Fairgrounds in Pueblo on Wednesday afternoon, hammering Donald Trump on everything from immigration to how he treats women.
While her speech was short on specifics, she made it clear that she needs to win Colorado to win the presidency.
"I always feel so welcome when I come here to Pueblo. I think I'll come here anytime it gets hot in the White House," Clinton told a raucous crowd.
In her first Colorado stop since August, the Democratic presidential nominee wasted little time attacking her Republican rival Trump- blasting him on his treatment of women, lack of experience, and his dwindling support in the Republican party.
"I'm very grateful for all the newspapers who are endorsing me, some of whom have never endorsed a Democrat before. He has targeted immigrants, African Americans, Latinos. He's targeted POWs, people with disabilities, Muslims and so many others."
Clinton did not discuss her latest crisis, the WikiLeaks release of embarrassing emails, instead sticking to familiar topics like taxes and education. She also blasted Trump on his negative attack ads.
"That's all they have left. Pure negativity, pessimism," said Clinton.
Clinton's message resonated with many pueblo residents.
"Trump's rhetoric or hate, and hating different ethnic groups, That's not what Pueblo is about," Regina Carpenter told CBS4's Tom Mustin.
Juan Burnett agreed, "This job is a voice for the people. It has nothing to do with yourself. Trump is all about him, Hillary is all about the people."
Colorado has the highest percentage of registered voters of any state in the nation. With mail-in ballots being sent on Monday, Clinton urged Coloradans to get out the vote.
"You could not have two more different people running for president than me and Donald Trump."
Clinton left Pueblo immediately to attend another campaign stop in Las Vegas. One staffer told Mustin the election is just a few weeks away, and "there's no rest for the weary."
