Jury Convicts Woman Charged In Double-Fatal Road Rage Crash

GREELEY, Colo. (AP) — A jury has convicted a woman of causing a double-fatal crash near Mead that investigators say was triggered by road rage.

The Weld County District Attorney's office says 30-year-old Nacole Lee Grim, of Frederick, was found guilty Friday of two counts of vehicular homicide in the April 15, 2015, deaths of 39-year-old Andrea Weiss, of Fort Collins; and 34-year-old Dang Mantkhong, of Parker.

A witness told investigators that Grim was speeding in the left lane of Interstate 25. As the witness moved into the right lane, Grim is accused of making a rude gesture toward her. Grim then drifted into the right lane and overcorrected, darted into oncoming traffic.

Weiss and Mantkhong, who were in different vehicles, died at the scene.

Grim faces up to 24 years in prison.
