YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK, Wyo. (CBS4) – Both the south and east entrances to Yellowstone National Park were closed Wednesday due to heavy snowfall.
The national park posted a picture on Facebook showing all of the snow around the southeast part of the park, which had closed both Sylvan Pass and the road between the south entrance and the West Thumb area.
The posted photo was taken near the south entrance, which comes up from nearby Grand Teton National Park.
CBS4’s Ed Greene says that part of the park has thus far seen 4 to 8 inches of snowfall this season depending on the elevation.
