5280 'Best Restaurants' Issue Hits Newsstands

DENVER (CBS4) - What's for dinner tonight? You may want a Denver date night after hearing this delicious list.

5280 Magazine's Marketing Director Carrie Horn sat down with CBS4's morning anchor Britt Moreno Friday to discuss the "25 Best Restaurants" as well as an incredible event where people can wine and dine and pay it forward.

The list is especially close to 5280 Magazine because the restaurant critic and writer has held this position for some 20 years and this is her final food list for the magazine. Amanda Faison will still be writing for the publication, just on different topics.

Horn said Faison begins sampling restaurants as early as January and bases the top 25 off of best food, service and quality.

An event the magazine is hosting called 5280 Dines takes place Oct. 2 at the Hangar at Stanley Marketplace from 6-9 p.m. Tickets are $75 and benefit the Tennyson Center for Children. Buy tickets at www.5280.com/5280dines.
