LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)– Investigators have released new photos of a vehicle they believe could help them in the death a bicyclist.
Police say the accident happened along the road near the entrance Carter Lake in Larimer County on Tuesday night. The cyclist, 43-year-old Jason “Jay” Holden, died on the scene.
The Colorado State Patrol has released two pictures of a vehicle that may be important to the investigation.
They believe the driver may have information about the deadly hit-and-run.
Holden was struck by a vehicle and that driver sped away. He was then struck by a pickup and that driver stayed on scene.
State troopers want to talk to anyone connected to the SUV with a roof or ski rack that may have been in the area at the time of the crash. The occupants are considered possible witnesses only.
A GoFundMe page has been set up in memory of Holden.
