Crews will be bringing down the old bridge over I-25
Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area altogether, but if you need to access across I-25, I recommend using Dry Creek or Orchard roads.

You can also expect lane closures on I-25 from Dry Creek and Orchard roads overnight Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Alameda Avenue

Eastbound Alameda Avenue closes from Santa Fe Drive to South Cherokee Street Friday, September 23rd at 9 p.m. until Monday, September 26th at 5 a.m. Crews will be installing a water main.

Although there will be a posted alternate, I would advise avoiding the mess at Mississippi Avenue altogether and using I-25 to 6th Avenue to access onto Broadway.

Federal Boulevard

Overnight weekend closures of Federal Boulevard will also affect RTD's B Line. Federal will close between 67th and 70th avenues Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. The closures will be as follows:

• Friday, September 23rd at 9 p.m. – Saturday, September 24th at 9 a.m.
• Saturday, September 24th at 7 p.m. – Sunday, September 25th at 9 a.m.
• Sunday, September 25th at 6 p.m. – Monday, September 26th at 5 a.m.

Because they will be working on the rail bridge service to the RTD B Line from Denver Union Station to Westminster will be unavailable. Commuter Rail will be replaced with shuttle buses during the closure.

As an alternate, drivers can use 67th or 72nd avenues to Lowell Boulevard.
