NB Lanes Of I-25 At 104th Reopen After Deadly Accident

NORTHGLENN, Colo. (CBS4)- A deadly accident involving a pedestrian on Interstate 25 closed northbound lanes at 104th Avenue on Friday afternoon. All lanes reopened just before 6:30 p.m.

Northglenn police rushed to the 10300 block of I-25 on reports of an auto-pedestrian accident about 3:15 p.m. Friday.

An adult male was attempting to run across I-25 when he was struck in the HOV lane by an oncoming vehicle. The man was pronounced dead on the scene.

Officers say alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the accident.

Northbound lanes were closed for more than three hours during the accident investigation and cleanup.
