WESTMINSTER, Colo. (CBS4) - Westminster police have identified 49-year-old Thomas Tucker as the man shot and killed by an officer after showing a weapon Tuesday night.

Investigators are still on the lookout for three males and one female who they say helped Tucker, 49, rob a man's garage near 121st Avenue and Bannock minutes before.

"They were aggressive and dangerous," said Westminster PD Investigator Cheri Spottke. "They punched him and brandished a weapon, so that's certainly cause for concern."

Police say tracking down items taken from the garage could lead them to the other suspects.

"They had a lot of stolen property with them from that burglary, so we need to find out who those people are, and their involvement in all of this," Spottke said.

Those items include tools and a bicycle, items police say are often resold.

While the suspect's identities are still unknown, they were last seen in a Silver Chevy Malibu.
