DENVER (CBS4) – Super Bowl MVP Von Miller and his mentor DeMarcus Ware are climbing up in the record books.
Both linebackers made some noise in the first half of the Broncos game against the Colts on Sunday.
With two half sacks in the first half, Miller has 68.5 sacks for his career, which is the 12th most in NFL history through the first six years.
With a half sack Ware moved into sole possession of ninth place in NFL history with 136.5 career sacks.
Miller told reporters on Thursday he would like people to start referring to himself and linebacking teammate DeMarcus Ware as “The Splash Brothers.” That’s a reference to the dynamic duo from the Golden State Warriors Klay Thompson and Steph Curry.
