Police Investigating Rash Of Vehicle Break-Ins

MONUMENT, Colo. (CBS4) - Police are trying to find whoever stole from vehicles parked in Monument neighborhoods.

About 10 cars were targeted. Police say all of them were unlocked.

Police are reminding people to secure their vehicles and not to leave any valuables inside.

"In addition to securing vehicles, we also encourage everyone to make sure their basement and main floor windows are closed and locked, and that their garage doors are also closed," police said in a statement.
