DENVER (CBS4)– Hundreds of volunteers spent the day on Tuesday making things better for others.
Groups from Denver metro area hospitals, schools, churches and other organizations gathered for “Love Matters Most.”
They helped out with 14 different projects around the community ranging from painting homes to stocking a food bank.
One woman who had her house painted said without the help, she would have no way to keep her house up.
“This means a great deal tome because physically there’s no way I could do this myself nor do I have the money so that I could hire someone else to do it,” said Caron Stone.
The goal is to promote awareness for mental health issues through community service. .
