El Grito 5K Helps Fund Scholarships For High School Athletes
DENVER (CBS4)- Hundreds of people hit the streets for the 23rd annual El Grito 5K over the weekend.
The race helps fund scholarships to graduating high school athletes who are continuing their education.
CBS4 is a proud sponsor of the event that was emceed by CBS4 Anchor Tom Mustin.
Mustin also ran the race along with CBS4 Sports Mark Haas.
The race kicked off outside the Buckhorn Exchange on Sunday morning.
