Police were able to arrest Draper after a pursuit that ended near East Colfax Avenue and Yosemite Street Sunday afternoon.

Police said he fired his gun four separate times, at times targeting innocent bystanders. When police caught up with him, he pointed a loaded gun at officers and that's when the chase began.

"At least twice during these shootings people were shot at, not just buildings or vehicles, actual human beings were shot at so we are so happy this person is off the streets," said Aurora Police Department spokesman Jim Puscian.

Officers believe he was under the influence of drugs at the time of his arrest.

Police said the woman was found shot to death in her apartment on Memphis Way in Aurora.
