Poor Showing For Broncos Running Game In Early Going

DENVER (CBS4) - The Denver Broncos running game is not anything to write home about so far in their preseason game against the Los Angeles Rams.

Of their first six rushing attempts in the first quarter, four were for negative yardage. The total yardage gained was 7 yards.

Running back C.J. Anderson also left the game to get treatment for a cut. He is expected to return to action, according to the Broncos.

Devontae Booker came into the game when Anderson came out.

Quarterback Trevor Siemian didn't start throwing the ball until right before the first quarter.
