Aqib Talib Gets Penalized, Leaves Game
DENVER (CBS4) - Denver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib saw his first preseason game action on Saturday night, and was tagged with a costly penalty before leaving the game.
Talib tackled Rams quarterback Case Keenum hard as he was running out of bounds in the second quarter on a 2nd down play.
Keenum was slow to get up on the Broncos sideline, and Talib didn't return to action after he was hit with a 15 yard penalty.
"After that hit, Talib took off his helmet and put it on the bench as if he knew he was done," CBS4's Michael Spencer tweeted.
Spencer also noted that Talib showed great closing speed on the play.
