Morfitt Blog: 'Braun Had Great Tips On How To Prepare'
This last month has been a roller coaster when it comes to training. Just a few weeks ago I ran a 10-mile long run, and the following week struggled to get out of bed to do any running!

Needless to say, I've been pretty discouraged. Meeting with professional runner Aaron Braun was just what I needed.
Not only did Braun win last year's Denver Rock & Roll half marathon but his average mile was just 5 minutes!! Braun had great tips on how to prepare, and because he's already run the course it was nice to get some insight into what we can expect on race day.
As helpful as the technical information will be, Braun also shared some personal stories that I think will help motivate me to get back on track as well.
Even as a professional runner, Braun has days where he doesn't necessarily want to run. The difference is he doesn't let that stop him and I do (that and it's his job). My goal after meeting with him is to get outside before I tell myself it's too hot or I'm too tired. Getting a single mile in on those days would be huge, and would really help me getting back to my routine.
