Crews worked overnight to repair the water main break.

People living in the area say this isn't the first time the water main has broken.

"This is the third one in probably less than a year that this water main has broken and water is flowing down the street like a river," said neighbor Rick Hewes.

Colorado Springs Utilities say they continue to investigate the cause of the break but believe it can be attributed to aging pipes.
