Aerial Support Helps Keep Spring Creek Fire From Growing

PARACHUTE, Colo. (CBS4) – Aerial support has been brought in to help fight the Spring Creek 2 Fire burning in Garfield and Mesa counties.

The wildfire has claimed several structures and prompted voluntary evacuations.

The fire has burned more than 600 acres between Spring Creek and Wallace Creek south of Parachute. It was 20 percent contained on Sunday evening.
