Plow Drivers Saddle Up For Snow Road-eo

DENVER (CBS4)- The most skilled snow plow drivers in Denver saddled up for the 28th annual snow road-eo on Friday.

The competition gives drivers a chance to brush up on their skills before fall and winter arrive.

"We have another one where there's an alley dock where they have to maneuver into a really tight quarters where the tolerance on either side is maybe only an inch, inch and a half. So they really have to understand safe operation and correct operation of that vehicle in order to do that," said Denver Public Works Safety Manager Marcel Linne.

The winners of the competition will go on to compete nationally at the Western Snow and Ice Conference in Loveland.
