Jury Takes Only 2 Hours To Find Business Supervisor Guilty Of Sex Assault

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - A supervisor of a business in Aurora has been found guilty of sexually assaulting one of his employees while on the job.

A jury to only two hours to convict Benjamin Offei, 38, of two counts of sexual assault on Monday.

According to police, the victim said Offei assaulted her in his office on two different occasions in January of 2015.

Offei originally told police nothing happened but then changed his story to say he had sex with the victim but it was consensual.

"These cases are difficult for victims to report and can be difficult to prosecute," District Attorney George Brauchler said in statement. "But that doesn't mean we don't aggressively and ethically pursue those who seek to take advantage of and harm others, no matter the circumstances or setting."

Offei is scheduled to be sentenced on Oct. 14.
