Crash, Possible Stabbing Closes Denver Street

DENVER (CBS4) - Police activity shut down a portion of Logan Street after reports of a crash Tuesday morning.

Just before 6 a.m., Denver police arrived on scene at East 2nd Avenue and Logan Street for what police are calling a crash and stabbing.

A man with possible self-inflicted knife wounds was found inside a vehicle. He was taken to the hospital to be treated and his condition is unknown.

An SUV on Logan Street appears to have been involved in an accident and was the car under investigation. It was towed from the scene at 6:45 a.m.

The southbound direction of Logan was closed to traffic between 2nd and 3rd Avenues, though northbound travel remained open.
