2 From Colorado Arrested In Arizona On Drug, Firearm Charges
PRESCOTT, Ariz. (AP) - A Colorado man and woman are in custody in Arizona for drug and firearm offenses.
Yavapai County Sheriff's officials say 29-year-old Jason Rosenbrook and 21-year-old Taylor Sonderquist have been booked into the Camp Verde Detention Center.
They remained held Monday on suspicion of possession and transportation of a dangerous drug for sale, forgery and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony.
Sonderquist's bond is $75,000 and Rosebrook's is $25,000.
A sheriff's deputy says Sonderquist was a passenger in a car Rosenbrook was driving late Thursday that was stopped on Interstate 17.
A search of the vehicle turned up nearly 5 pounds of methamphetamine plus a semi-automatic weapon, marijuana, drug paraphernalia including multiple syringes and counterfeit money.
Sheriff's officials say Sonderquist told investigators that she's an intravenous meth user.
