Fort Carson Soldier Died After Training Exercise
FORT CARSON, Colo. (CBS4)- A Fort Carson soldier died on Monday morning after collapsing during a training exercise.
The soldier collapsed at the end of a routine physical fitness training about 7:30 a.m. Monday.
The soldier was rushed to Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs after unit combat medics provided first responder care.
The solider was pronounced dead an hour later.
The name of the soldier has not been released. The cause of death remains under investigation.
